The Tradition range of Singer sewing machines are as the name suggests, are more of a conventional shape with strong mechanical internals. The 2282 uses an aluminium chassis as a reliable and trouble free platform to build upon.

This is the Singer 2282 model and it features 32 stitches, which include 6 x utility, 19 x decorative, home decor, dressmaking and repair stitches, 6 stretch stitches

Button holes are automatic and sewn is one single step. The special included auto buttonholes foot measures the button and the Singer 2282 will sew the correct size buttonhole to match that button.

Adjustable width and length can be set to 5mm and 4mm respectively. Applique, satin stitch or free-motion embroidery are all possible using the Singer 2282.
